| The team discovers Vincent lying in a coffin in the basement of Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim. He appears to be a frail man, but his body is hiding a ferocious power inside of it. Vincent is an ex-member of the Turks, a group that carries out many of Shinra Inc.'s illegal plans. He fell in love with Sephiroth's biological mother, Lucrecia, and tried to protect her when the Shinra came to inject her with the Jenova cells (see Sephiroth's bio). He was captured by the Turks and used in Professor Hojo's horrible experimentations in the Shinra Mansion basement, giving him the power to transform into a number of destructive monsters. He joins up with Cloud in hopes of seeing his beloved Lucrecia again. Vincent is the second hidden character in FF7.
