| Tifa and Cloud grew up together in Nibelheim. They were childhood friends and she always found herself attracted to him. But as she grew older, Tifa started hanging around with other guys and didn't pay any attention to Cloud. While she was still young, her mother died of a severe illness. This led her to carelessly cross the bridge to the Mt. Nibel Reactor, even though it was quite dangerous. Cloud was the only one brave enough to go with her, but they both ended up falling through the bridge. Cloud was blamed for the accident and he felt guilty. Eventually, this memory blended in with Cloud's memories from the Nibelheim reactor when he was 16 (see the Cloud Profile for the whole story). Tifa's father was killed by Sephiroth during his rampage through Nibelheim, leaving both of her parents dead. After this, Tifa decided to move to Midgar as well. She now owns a bar in the Sector 7 Slums, called Tifa's Seventh Heaven. She is also one of the main members of AVALANCHE. Her bar serves as the group's HQ and they have a secret training center in the basement. Tifa is the only one who knows who Cloud really is, but she would never tell him. She has strong feelings for Cloud and a love triangle begins to develop between herself, Cloud, and Aeris. | ||||||||
