Tseng is the leader of the Turks. He wears his black hair neatly trimmed at his shoulders and is always strutting around with an official air. He is the heart and soul of the Turks, like the glue that binds them together. He is dedicated and professional. Tseng's job is to keep everyone else focused and in line while on the job. With 3 employees like Reno, Rude, and Elena, that can often be a difficult job. He has known Aeris since she was a child, as the Turks have been trying to kidnap her for Shinra's twisted experiments for a long time. Secretly, he has a crush on her, although he would never allow this to get in the way of his job. Tseng is killed by Sephiroth in the Temple of the Ancients, just as he is about to be granted access to the inner temple.

Reno

Reno is one of the main Turks and you will have to fight him several times throughout the course of the game. He takes control of the group after Tseng is killed. Reno and Rude are best friends, and they are always talking about who likes who. They also hang out a lot in bars together, as Reno is somewhat of an alcoholic. He is a true mercenary who will do anything for the right price. His trademark shock-rod brings pain to those who oppose him.

Rude

Rude is Reno's best friend in the group. He also plays a main part in the game's storyline and you will fight him many times as well. He also talks a lot about gossip and shares Reno's alcoholism. He is the most quiet and reserved member of the group, especially while drinking. He has a crush on Tifa.

Elena

Elena is the only female Turk. She is also the youngest member and is quite naive. In addition to being a little dense at times, she is also the mouthiest and most active member of the group. She is accepted into the Turks after your battle with Reno at the Sector 7 Plate leaves him too injured to join the others.
