What Is Fan Fiction?

Fan fiction is the name given to stories written by fans of a game, movie, or just about anything else. These stories take place in the same world as the things they are based on, but can have different characters and events, be set in different times, or even be twisted takes on the actual events in that thing. All of the fan fics you see here are based on Final Fantasy VII (obviously). However, they are not just regular stories, they are interactive fan fics.

How Does Interactive Fan Fiction Work?

It's quite simple, actually. First you have to click on the story you want to read. You will then see a description of that story. To begin reading it, click on Start Reading. This will to take you to the story's first chapter. After the chapter is over, you will be given two options of what to do next. The storyline after that depends on your choice.

However, not only will you be able to read what I've written, you will be able to add to the story yourself. When you reach a chapter whose heading is Your Turn, this means that this is as far as the story has been written. To add another chapter, fill out all of the required information below the heading and then write your chapter in the box provided. You can write as much or as little information as you like. After this, you have to write the two options that the reader will be given at the end of the chapter. Now submit your chapter. However, don't add any stupid chapters just for fun because I can and will edit what you write.

NOTE: I have not, as yet, found a way to have a chapter with no options, so I do not know how to end the book. If you wish to end the story with your chapter, please write The End at the end of your entry and enter The End as both of your options. If you see this while you are reading, please do not add anything further after this point.
