| Cait Sith appears to be a cat that rides around on the back of a gigantic stuffed Mog that has been brought to life. He shouts out orders to his Mog companion, creating attacks.In reality, however, Cait Sith is a spy.
Cait Sith is a robot. His stuffed body is being controlled by a Shinra Inc. executive named Reeve. Reeve owns an entire warehouse of Cait Sith bodies, each one disposable. The team meets Cait Sith at the Gold Saucer, posing as a fortune teller. When he tells Cloud's fortune, he comes up with a really weird response and forces himself into the group. He says it's to see if his prediction comes true, but there is a lot more to it than that. Although he is a spy, Cait Sith eventually warms to the team and even helps them, becoming their link to Shinra. |
